Evertz Hydrotechnik was commissioned to develop a concept for optimizing the BDM descaling of voestalpine Rail Technology and, based on this, to redesign the scale washer.

Currently, three different billet formats were descaled, whereby the spray sheets belonging to the respective format had to be exchanged by hand, which was very time-consuming and costly.

In addition, the desire was to improve descaling performance and minimize energy losses.

We succeeded in this!
